Hey there! Thanks for taking a moment to learn a bit more about me. I originally graduated Whitmer High School (Toledo, Ohio) back in 2007 with an interest in computers and networking. After attending a local university for a few semesters, I quickly found out that I was ready for something new and exciting. I enrolled into the Digital Media Arts program at Specs Howard School of Media Arts in Southfield, Michigan and completed their one-year diploma program. As a student at Specs, I essentially got a “crash course” in everything related to multimedia production: video, photography, web design, and audio. My education there provided a strong foundation for me to build upon. I started doing photography at local Toledo bars, night clubs, and concerts and quickly found myself building quite the following. However, I was hungry for something more. I was fortunate enough to receive $30,000 in scholarships to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Film at Full Sail University. I moved down to Orlando, Florida in September 2012 and started my studies on-campus. Through the course of a rigorous and accelerated two-year program, I’ve learned so much and have made some amazing new, life-long connections. I graduated Full Sail with a 3.57 GPA and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Film in June of 2014.
Shortly following my graduation, I was blessed to receive a paid internship with the 2014 Vans Warped Tour and fulfilled the role as Monster Energy Pit Reporter. I lived on a tour bus and traveled to 42 cities in about 52 days performing the duties of photographer, videographer, and managing social media for the tour. It was a challenging experience, but through it I learned so much and grew much more as an individual. Here’s one of the “pit blogs” I shot and edited while on tour:
I returned to Orlando after the tour and landed a gig with WWE NXT as a Video Production Intern. My primary responsibilities included shooting video promos for the Superstars and Divas that occasionally made it onto the shows on the WWE Network as well as WWE.com. I also helped out performing various tasks at the WWE Performance Center and helped out with live events A lot of the material was experimental and never saw the light of day, but it was a unique experience where I get to interact with talent before they are huge household names. Here’s just a small sample of an example of work I did with WWE NXT (I shot the locker room scene near the end):
I moved back to my hometown of Toledo just before Christmas 2015. I landed a full-time gig with a B2B marketing company by the name of COACT Associates. I produce corporate videos for our clients who represent a wide range of industries. Most of the videos focus on testimonials, case studies, and product overviews.
I’m proud to be the founder of Vindicate Media and am thoroughly excited about how far our company has come and where it is heading. When I founded the company back in June of 2012, I envisioned it evolving into a “one-stop shop” for all things multimedia related. My goal has always been to bring a team of talented individuals under one collective umbrella who take pride in their work and can offer our clients nothing short of world-class service. Fast forward to almost two years later and I’m ecstatic that this vision has become realized and continues to be realized in our day-to-day operations. I’m excited for the challenges and opportunities that the future will bring to our company, and I take immense pride in knowing that my colleagues will be able to continue offering their outstanding service for years to come.
